About the Role

Our client is seeking a Director, Enterprise Architecture with deep Salesforce / Force.com platform leadership experience. This senior consultant will advise on enterprise architecture strategy, Salesforce development standards, integration best practices, and governance frameworks.

The Director will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, guiding solution design, environment management, testing strategies, and enterprise-level change management. This role requires proven success defining and delivering custom Force.com applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement enterprise architecture standards for Salesforce solutions.
Advise on application/integration best practices, solution design, and governance frameworks.
Review and validate technical design documents leveraging Salesforce.
Oversee release management, change management, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).
Identify and mitigate risks in architecture or program direction.
Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize business processes using Salesforce.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise architecture.
Proven success delivering custom Force.com enterprise apps in a leadership role.
Expertise in integration technologies and master data management (MDM).
Experience leading development/release management strategies and enterprise change management.
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred).
Excellent communication skills for executive-level reporting and presentations.

Preferred Skills

Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Backend data integration using HTTP, SOAP, REST web services.
Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce/APEX, JSON, JavaScript, XML.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, Application Architect).
Salesforce Sales Cloud, Community Cloud, Single Sign-On (SSO) experience.
