Technology Business Analyst (WIC Program)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technology Business Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Bureau of WIC Program Services. The consultant will provide training development, policy guidance, MIS system enhancement support, and quality assurance modernization for the WIC program at the state level.
This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on public health initiatives for women, infants, and children across Florida.
Key Responsibilities
Review, update, and improve existing WIC program trainings.
Develop new training content, including manuals, presentations, modules, and staff competencies (20+ hours/month).
Provide expert guidance on federal and state WIC policies/regulations and communicate updates to staff (80+ hours/month).
Deliver technical assistance to state and local WIC staff; attend policy and change management meetings.
Serve as SME for MIS modifications/enhancements, conduct UAT, and advise on operations planning.
Assist with quality assurance protocols and staff improvement programs.
Ensure strict compliance with DOH data security and confidentiality policies.
Required Qualifications
5+ years developing, updating, and analyzing training materials.
5+ years communicating effectively with health professionals, nutrition staff, and customers.
5+ years evaluating MIS system changes from a user/policy perspective.
5+ years assessing program operations, compliance, and improvement opportunities.
5+ years working with state, regional, or local WIC agencies (Florida WIC experience highly preferred).
Strong written/verbal communication skills and experience with stakeholder coordination.
